We are currently seeking an experienced defendant insurance lawyer in our growing Insurance practice and a part-time law clerk in the Family Law practice.  Refer more details below.


Part-time role, 3 days per week

Kott Gunning’s family law team acts for private clients providing advice and representation in relation to all aspects of matrimonial and de-facto law including separation, divorce, property settlement, de-facto relationships, children’s issues and agreements including financial agreements.

We presently have an opportunity for someone with experience in family law to work closely with our lawyers on matters, which will include interviewing of clients, preparation of affidavits and drafting of letters and court documents.

This is a part-time role, 3 days per week, ideally Tuesdays to Thursdays.

Full-time position for a candidate with 2+ years experience

Kott Gunning’s expanding insurance practice is seeking an experienced defendant insurance lawyer.

With a broad range of clients including local, national and international insurers, self insurers and brokers, this is a fabulous opportunity for an experienced defendant insurance lawyer to develop a career within a well-respected and very experienced practice group.

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic lawyer with a minimum of 2 years solid experience in:

  • WA workers’ compensation and common law claims advice, strategy and litigation;
  • WorkCover WA proceedings; and
  • District Court and Supreme Court proceedings.
