2 New Articled Clerks For Kott Gunning

Kott Gunning is pleased to announce the addition of two new articled clerks. Katrina Welch and Glen Atkins are both currently located in our Insurance team. At present, Kott Gunning has a total of four articled clerks, with two to be admitted in April 2008.

Glen Atkins joined Kott Gunning in 2005 as a law clerk in our Insurance team while completing a Bachelor of Law degree at the University of Western Australia. Prior to his appointment, Glen worked for a general insurer in their workers’ compensation department. Glen commenced his articles with Kott Gunning in December 2007.

Katrina Welch commenced her articles with Kott Gunning in February 2008. After completing a two week vacation clerkship with us in early 2007, Katrina continued to work one day a week as a law clerk in the Commercial Litigation team while finishing her studies.

A winner of the Law Society of Western Australia Plain English Drafting Competition in 2007, Katrina graduates from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Laws with Distinction and a Bachelor of Arts.
