Kott Gunning Celebrates 90 Years

This year Kott Gunning celebrates 90 years of providing quality legal services.

The founding partner of the firm that is today known as Kott Gunning was Max Kott. Max practised law for over 50 years. He established his legal practice in 1919 in the areas of insolvency, mining claims and litigation. Max was an active environmentalist and a founding member of the Swan River Conservation Board.

The other former partner whose name remains a part of today’s firm is Ivan Gunning. Ivan was the firm’s longest serving managing partner, who later became a Judge of the District Court.

Being part of the fabric of the legal community of the state for nine decades confers its benefits.
