Bette Mcwhirter

Bette was admitted to practice in 1995. Bette practices in the specialty of family law. With experience as a practising barrister for nine years prior to joining Kott Gunning, she is able to provide an informed overview of the family law jurisdiction and the remedies and strategies available to clients. In the interests of early resolution of family law issues, alternative dispute resolution via negotiation and private mediation is promoted.

Bette has a particular interest in property matters including international property, third party involvement in relationship property, and binding financial agreements entered into prior to or during co-habitation or marriage. She also has experience in the protective jurisdiction of the Family Court in relation to children including relocation issues.
