Kott Gunning Lawyers has sponsored the Zonta Young Women in Public Affairs Award since 2011. The firm encourages the pursuit of excellence and regularly contributes towards prizes and awards to recognise individual achievements.
The goal of the Zonta International Young Women in Public Affairs (YWPA) Award Program is to encourage more young women to participate in public affairs by recognising a young woman’s commitment to the volunteer sector, volunteer leadership achievements and a dedication to the empowerment of women.
We feel this Award is very worthwhile in encouraging our women leaders of the future. Past winners have gone on to achieve amazing things including Tammy Solonec, an indigenous Human Rights Lawyer, who was inducted into the WA Women’s Hall of Fame in 2017.
In 2019 both Kott Gunning and Zonta International will be celebrating their 100 year anniversaries at a very special Awards night – proud advocates for the advancement of women worldwide.
