Local Government Compliance: Enforcement Options in Health and Building Matters Workshop

Date:  Thursday, 2 November 2017
Time:  10:00am – 3:00pm
Venue: Bakers House, 10 Welcome Meander, Harrisdale
Fee:  $125 per person includes refreshments

This seminar will explore the various enforcements options available to local governments under the familiar Health Act 1911, the new Public Health Act 2016 and the Building Act 2011.

It is important to understand the differences between the different enforcement options and their limitations. It may be appropriate to use one type of enforcement action in some circumstance but not others for example.

Why attend?

This seminar will help you to understand what the options are available to you and the pros and cons of using each one. This is a great opportunity to come along and get valuable insight into changes to the various Acts from one of WA’s best legal minds.
