Did you know? More than 50 per cent of Australians don’t have a Will according to the WA Public Trustee.

In simple terms, estate planning involves planning for both what happens to your assets and affairs after your death and who takes charge of your affairs in the event you lose capacity. Along with aged care, estate planning is a topic most people tend not think about too much. That’s understandable, but it’s important and will make life much easier for the family and loved ones you leave behind.

To begin to plan, you need to identify your estate planning needs based on your situation and wishes. From there it’s important to understand what forms part of your estate and what doesn’t.

The rules can be complicated but it’s important to get it right. IPAC Western Australia invites you to attend a seminar where Claire Hawke-Gundill from Kott Gunning Lawyers will help you identify your estate planning needs.

You will have plenty of time to ask questions and refreshments will be served following the presentation. If you’d like to bring a family member or friend along, please register their details.
