Jack’s primary experience includes general litigation, bankruptcy and insolvency proceedings, consumer law matters and trustee/beneficiary disputes.
Jack has also previously advised and negotiated on behalf of industry groups with regards to state government industry agency agreements. He has also advised clients on matters subject to the Associations Incorporation Act 2015.
Outside of his time at Kott Gunning, Jack has experience in criminal law, working as a law graduate for a regional advocacy group, as well as spending two years clerking for high profile criminal barristers at the Albert Wolff Chambers while completing his studies.
Prior to working in the legal profession, Jack was the General Manager of the Albany Racing Club for two seasons. His time at the Albany Racing Club left Jack with firsthand experience working with boards and committees under the Associations Incorporation Act 2015, as well as developing an astute commercial mindset. Jack was also a sitting representative of the Western Australian Provincial Thoroughbred Racing Association (WAPTRA).
Jack remains actively involved within the WA Racing Community and has provided advice to both clubs and industry participants.
