Loretta commenced at Kott Gunning in 2011 and became a Partner in 2013. Loretta is a highly regarded family law practitioner, having practiced in this area for more than 27 years. She practices across all areas of family and de facto law matters including divorce, separation, property settlements, parenting plans, complex financial matters, child support matters, spousal maintenance and at times sensitive children’s matters. While she fully supports and advocates for negotiation and mediation, Loretta also recognises that on occasion litigation in the Family Court is the only possible alternative to achieve the best results for her client. Loretta has extensive experience in both negotiated settlements and Family Court litigation with respect to property settlements and children’s matters including acting for grandparents, representing clients in recovery and relocation applications and matters involving allegations of abuse.
