Kott Gunning further strengthens its expertise in trust and estate matters

Kott Gunning’s longstanding expertise in providing advice and representation in relation to complex trust and inheritance matters has been further strengthened by its involvement with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

STEP is a worldwide professional association for practitioners experienced in dealing with family inheritance and succession planning.  STEP members must not only demonstrate relevant experience to become a Member and meet high professional standards, but must also comply with a Code of Professional Conduct requiring them at all times to act with integrity and in a manner that inspires confidence, respect and trust of clients and the wider community.

Congratulations to Kott Gunning partners David Miller, Mark Fatharly, Tim Lethbridge and Elise Croft, all now full members of STEP, for holding a minimum of 5 years detailed experience in the trust and estate matters, and to Claire Hawke-Gundill, Solicitor, for becoming an Associate Member.

Congratulations also to Mark Fatharly for being elected as a Council Member on the STEP Western Australia Committee in May 2014.
